The Arizona Republic reports that “solar manufacturers and installers [are] either out of panels or out of time.
Solar energy is so popular in and out of the Grand Canyon State, that demand has literally outstripped supply. This could be bad news for those who are looking forward to a federal alternative-energy investment tax credit. The current 30% credit is set to drop to 10% on December 31st if Congress doesn’t take action quickly.
Since installers are booked and suppliers are out of panels, if you haven’t yet placed your order, you may end up paying for much more of your set up than you might have planned.
